No More Use of $8000 Tax Credit for Down Payment & Closing Costs

The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs announced last week that it is no longer accepting applications for two loan programs that enabled first-time home buyers to use their $8,000 federal tax credit for closing costs and down payment.
