The Turtle Creek subdivision is located on A. W. Grimes Blvd. in Round Rock, Texas roughly midway between the new SH-45 toll road and US-79.
The third major area of this neighborhood is now being developed by builder D.R. Horton. The first home sales in Turtle Creek began in 2003 on the east side of A. W. Grimes (Turtle Creek Village). Another section to the west has since been completed around 2006.
Homes in Turtle Creek have a vintage (throwback) look, but are thoroughly modern. External features include Hardiplank siding, various muted pastel colors, full sod and more. The homes are built to be energy efficient with up-to-date HVAC systems, insulation and low-E windows. These homes are built to be very livable. All of the homes have rear entry garages that are accessed via alleys that run between the homes.
D.R. Horton is offering 5 models of homes in the newest section of Turtle Creek. These homes range in size from 1,276 sq. ft. to 1,446 sq. ft. Homes in the older two sections of the neighborhood range in size up to 2,254 sq. ft. The average sales price in the neighborhood in 2008 was $152,805. Sales prices in 2008 ranged from $133,000 to $173,800.
Turtle Creek is convenient to a lot of shopping, to schools, and to several golf courses, the Dell Diamond and area parks.
