Falcon Pointe Subdivision | Pflugerville Homes & Real Estate
Just east of the intersection of the new SH-130 and SH-45 toll roads is a lovely neighborhood named Falcon Pointe. In early 2009, it is clear that the development of Falcon Pointe (like most other residential real estate developments) has slowed with the economy. This, however, does not take anything away from what Falcon Pointe offers its homeowners. The subdivision actually has two parts: the first on the north side of Kelly Lane between SH-130 and the Blackhawk neighborhood, and the second across from Blackhawk on the south side of Kelly Lane.
The many features of Falcon Pointe begin with the Resident's Club. This community center has features you would find at a country club! Swimming pools, picnic pavilion, workout room, basketball and tennis courts, gazebo, large meeting room (complete with wide-screen TV and fireplace), kitchen, and more! The neighborhood also has smaller community parks in various locations.
If you have or plan to have children, they will learn the 3 R's and other things at schools very close to the neighborhood. The middle school is located within the perimeter of the southern section of Falcon Pointe. A short walk past this school leads to the elementary and high schools. These schools are part of the Pflugerville Independent School District's provisions for your children's education.
What about shopping for Falcon Pointe residents? The Stone Hill Town Center, being developed just across SH-130 from Falcon Pointe, will add many options for finding what you need close to the neighborhood. The Home Depot store is already open, and a Target and a Best Buy are nearing completion. Other stores will open in 2009. It is also just a short trip southwest from Falcon Pointe to the Super Wal-Mart on FM-685, and west to other large shopping centers (at I-35 and SH-45) in Round Rock.
Do you like to golf? The Blackhawk Golf Club, an 18-hole championship public layout, was built as part of the Blackhawk subdivision (on the north side of Kelly Lane). This challenging links style course, with water, sand and trees, is very accessible to the residents of Falcon Pointe.
Add to all of this the nice homes in Falcon Pointe and you may find a "winner" for you and your family. In 2008, homes sales ranged in price from $156K - $315K, and in size from 1,700-4,600 sq. ft. These homes are really quite nice! Clients of mine recently purchased a home in Falcon Pointe. To use their words, it is the "perfect house."
This Falcon Pointe link will direct you to more information and an interactive map for this neighborhood. If you find a home that interests you, or want more information about Falcon Pointe, please give me a call at 512.912.1557.
