Senna Hills - West Austin Hill Country Neighborhood
A couple of miles from the Village of Bee Cave, in the rolling hills of Northwest Travis County, is the beautiful Senna Hills subdivision. With average sales prices for the past two years in the $600K range, you can tell that this is not your average neighborhood. Quite the contrary! Senna Hills is definitely up on the scale of Austin subdivisions, and has Hill Country views that are beautiful!
Development of Senna Hills began in 1994. In the past three years, new construction has been ramped up by Taylor Morrison and Drees Custom Homes. The companies are building a number of different homes in the community. Prices of new homes currently available (mid-November 2008) or soon to be finished begin around $660K. A number of resale homes are also listed for sale in the neighborhood. Prices for these 
homes range from the $430s to almost $700K. Taylor Morrison is also adding a garden home section in the subdivision. Except for two garden home models, all of the homes in Senna Hills are 2-story homes. Lot sizes vary in the neighborhood, but typically are 0.25-0.35 acres. The homes of both builders are packed with nice features.
This neighborhood is close to the Hill Country Galleria in the Village of Bee Cave, and has easy access to Austin via RM 2244 and to Lake Travis on US 71. There are a number of golf courses nearby. Senna Hills has a large swimming pool, wading pool and playscape for children, basketball and tennis courts, and walking trails in the surrounding greenbelt. Membership in the Senna Hills Owner’s Association (HOA) is mandatory. Senna Hills students attend classes in the highly-acclaimed Eanes Independent School District.
Sum it up: Senna Hills is a lovely, family-friendly neighborhood that is probably unknown to most people. If you are looking for a home that is near Austin, but out in the hills, then Senna Hills may be what you are looking for!
