Those entering this neighborhood are greeted by a sign which identifies it as Overland Park. This clearly is the common name, but it is legally known as Waterloo. This practice is not a common one, but it does occur occasionally (Sunset/Creek Ridge, e.g.)

Waterloo was developed by Kaufman & Broad Homes (aka KB Home) over the 2-year period 2000-2001. The subdivision is in a well-treed area along Manchaca Rd.
