Turtle Creek Subdivision Round Rock ♦ Location
The Turtle Creek neighborhoods are conveniently located to schools, and to plenty of shopping and entertainment options. Residents have easy access to Austin and points west via I-35 South or Mopac, and to points north and east via US-79. Nearby golf clubs include Forest Creek, Teravista, and Blackhawk (links to Austin and Central Texas Golf Clubs). Settler's Park and the Dell Diamond (home of the Round Rock Express AAA baseball team) are short drives from Turtle Creek.
Development of Turtle Creek ♦ Turtle Creek Homes
 Turtle Creek is a development by builder D.R. Horton.
The oldest section is Turtle Creek Village, where sales began in 2003, is located on the east side of A. W. Grimes Blvd. The two other sections, located on the west side of A. W. Grimes, are known as Turtle Creek.
In January 2013, D.R. Horton is still building homes in the northernmost section of Turtle Creek. New homes in this are available in 11 floor plans ranging in size from 1,243 sq. ft. to 1,965 sq. ft. These are quality homes that currently include high efficiency air conditioning systems, low-E double-paned windows, 2" faux wood blinds, full sod, Whirlpool appliances (including the refrigerator), white vinyl fences and garage door opener.
Homes in the older sections have attached rear garages, and range in size from 1,332 sq. ft. to over 2,200 sq. ft. These homes were built in the years 2003 through 2007.
The Turtle Creek Community Center
 The Turtle Creek neighborhoods have a very nice community center. This center is located at the entry to the section of Turtle Creek that is still being developed. As the photo shows, this neighborhood center includes a large swimming pool, with meeting area and covered pavilion. Residents also have access to a walking and jogging trail, and to nearby parks (Greenlawn Park, e.g.).
Membership in the Turtle Creek Owners Association is required for owners of homes in the Turtle Creek subdivisions. Dues in early 2013 are around $37 per month. The HOA is managed by RealManage.
