Residents of Sunset have many nearby options for worship, shopping, eating, recreation and exercise (3 close-by gyms). Shoppers can visit the Shops at Arbor Trails, a development at Wm. Cannon & Mopac, three developments in Sunset Valley, grocery stores such as Randall's & HEB, super stores such as WalMart, Sam's and Costco, Escarpment Village and more. Parks nearby include the Dick Nichols park on Beckett Ln., and the Metro park on W. Slaughter Ln. in Circle C. 

Golf courses include the Grey Rock Golf Club on the south side on SH-45, and the Jimmy Clay/Roy Kizer courses on the east side of IH-35. Of course, Zilker Park and the many other features associated with living in the Greater Austin area are also easily accessed.
