In February 2018, three builders (Pacesetter Homes, Clark Wilson Homes and KB Home) are building new homes in the Star Ranch subdivision. (Wilshire Homes has completed its work in the community.) Base prices for new homes range from $217 (KB Home Villas) up to $319k, with square footages ranging from 1,340 to 3,117.  

Homebuyers can choose from a variety of new home models and floor plans, or select a home that is on the resale home market. The homes that are being built or have been built in Star Ranch range in size from 1,340 sq. ft. to more than 4,000 sq. ft.

The Golf Club at Star RanchThis club is one of the nicest in the Austin area! Featuring four sets of tee boxes, the course presents a challenge to golfers of all skill levels. From the "tips" the course plays 7,017 yards. It features rolling hills, sand and water ... and some very nice greens. It is a popular course for play and for tournaments.

The Golf Club at Star Ranch also has great facilities. These include a 15,000 sq. ft. club house, a driving range, a well-stocked pro shop, cafe, locker rooms and more.

Star Ranch HOA and Community Center: As part of their ownership privileges, homeowners in Star Ranch have access to a nice neighborhood swimming pool and playground area for their children. Property owners are requred to maintain an activeStar Ranch Community centermembership in the Star Ranch Community HOA.

Future Development: The future plans for this 1,000-acre master-planned development are ambitious! They include more residential and multi-family development, retail facilities (including an HEB grocery store and other small businesses), an elementary school, and additional roadways.

Taxes in Star Ranch are typical of neighborhoods whose water and sewer service are provided through water or municipal utility districts. Tax rates depend on the school district in which the home is located. Taxing entities include Williamson County, WCID#3 and others.

Star Ranch Hutto-Pflugerville ♦ Public Schools for Neighborhood Students

The Star Ranch subdivision is located within the boundaries of two school districts. Some of the subdivision is in the boundaries of the Hutto Independent School District, including some homes on the south side of Gattis School Road. The remaining homes south of Gattis School Road are in the Pflugerville Independent School DistrictBefore purchasing a home in Star Ranch, parents and prospective homeowners should verify current school assignments with the Hutto ISD and/or the Pflugerville ISD.
