Neighborhood Location: The Southpark Meadows subdivision is part of the larger retail and residential development with the same name. The retail portion is located at the SW corner of IH-35 and W. Slaughter Lane. The main entrance to the subdivision is just past the retail section on the S side of W. Slaughter Lane at Southpark Meadows Drive. This road extends through the neighborhood to S. 1st St. Residents can get to Mopac with a 4-5 mile drive to the west on W. Slaughter Lane.

Southpark Meadows ♦ Builder, Homes, Area Amenities
 Buffington Homes offers several models from its Capital Plus Homes series in Southpark Meadows. The base price of these homes in May 2011 ranged from the upper $190's to almost $220k. Home sizes start at 1,384 sq. ft. to 2,372 sq. ft. (Sandana Homes is no longer building in the community.) Homebuyers can also find some larger resale homes from time to time in Southpark Meadows.
Buffington has recently (note added January 2011) begun adding some homes in the section of Southpark Meadows closest to W. Slaughter Ln., where the first new home models were located.
 The subdivision is conveniently located to one of the best shopping, eating and entertainment developments in the Austin area. Anchored by stores like WalMart, Target, JC Penneys, Marshall's, and The RoomStore, and with eating places like Chili's and Jason's Deli, this is a "go to" place for many. There are also a movie theater for movie buffs, an auto repair place, banks and much more.
The neighborhood is close to the Mary Moore Searight Metro Park, a 300+ acre offering of the City of Austin. It has many features including picnic facilities, an 18-hole disc golf course, and basketball courts.
