 The homes in Silver Leaf are either new homes being constructed, or those built since 2008. The first sales recorded in the Austin MLS were in April 2008. In April 2011, Plantation Homes and Buffington Homes are building new homes in the subdivision.
Base prices of Plantation's homes start in the upper $180's. Buffington's base base prices range from near $190k to the mid $280's.
Both builders offer 1-story and 2-story homes. You can get a home with as little as 1,912 sq. ft. of living space, or one that is larger than 4,500 sq. ft. These homes come well-equipped with standard features that "rock." The kitchens, baths, living spaces, etc., as well as the many energy efficient features, are designed to make living in Silver Leaf more enjoyable and less expensive. Of course, you can "upgrade" your home with other available features.

Membership in the Silver Leaf Homeowners Association (HOA) is required. The community has no in-neighborhood amenities. The property tax rates set in 2010 for Silver Leaf are around $2.90/$100 of assessed property value.

The Silver Leaf neighborhood is situated in great place in eastern Round Rock. Close to major traffic arteries IH-35, SH-45 and SH-130 makes getting around the area relatively easy. There is an abundance of shopping centers nearby, including the La Frontera center at IH-35 and SH-45, the newish Stone Hill Town Center at SH-130 and SH-45, Round Rock Premium Outlets and more. There are major grocery stores, including HEB, Target Wal-Mart, nearby.
Area features include golf courses like the Forest Creek, Teravista, Blackhawk and Star Ranch Golf Clubs, parks like the multi-use Old Settlers Park in northeast Round Rock, the Dell Diamond (home of the Texas Ranger's AAA baseball team), and major medical facilities (Seton, Scott & White) and employers (like Dell).
