Though development of Paloma Lake began in 2007, the first home sale in the subdivision development closed on 1/28/08. As of the end of December 2011, about 175 Paloma Lake homes (new and resale) have been sold in the Austin MLS. This does not include any sales made by the builders directly to home buyers.

 The homes in the Round Rock Paloma Lake subdivision are being constructed by five quality builders. The builders offer a number of 1- and 2-story plans with many options for upgrades to suit your lifestyle and dreams. The standard features of the Paloma Lake homes vary with the builder and the price. All homes are built to be energy efficient.
The current roster (May 2011) of new home builders includes David Weekley, Standard Pacific, Ashton Woods, Grand Haven and Plantation Homes. (Taylor Morrison is no longer building in Paloma Lake.)
New homes in Paloma Lake have base prices starting in the 160's and streching up to around $290k. Home sizes range from agout 1560 sq. ft. to over 3800 sq. ft. Buyers also can choose lot sizes from 53' wide to 65' wide.
Paloma Lake ♦ Location, Amenities, HOA
Location: Homeowners in Paloma Lake don't have to go far for shopping (Round Rock Premium Outlets, WalMart, HEB, e.g.), recreation (Old Settler's Park, golf courses like Forest Creek and Teravista), entertainment (Dell Diamond), education (local schools and Texas State University), healthcare (Scott & White and Seton facilities) and jobs. The neighborhood is also convenient to IH-35 and to the new SH-130 toll road. It is pretty simple to get to points north and south (ABIA airport), east and west.
 The Fish Camp is a recreational area that is part of the 200 acres of "green" area set aside for keeping Paloma Lake beautiful and enjoyable for its residents. The community will have plenty of walking trails and will also feature neighborhood parks.
Community Centers: The Paloma Lake Swim and Community Center opened in 2010. A second center is in future development plans, to be built as additional homes are developed and sold in the various neighborhoods of Paloma Lake. This center will be built adjacent to the Fish Camp.
Paloma Lake Homeowners' Association: Membership in the Paloma Lake HOA is mandatory for homeowners. HOA fees are $480/year. Fees are used to help maintain the quality of life and property values in Paloma Lake, and provide funds for maintaining common areas such as the entry to the neighbnorhood and the neighborhood parks.
