The main entrance to the subdivision is on Island Oak Drive. The Oak at Twin Creeks is on the southeast side of Mary Moore Searight Park, and just southwest of the Southpark Meadows shopping, eating and entertainment development.

The Oak at Twin Creeks Austin ♦ Neighborhood Features

KB Home began selling homes in The Oak at Twin Creeks in 2006. The builder offers a wide selection built-to-order, 1- and 2-story homes that have from 1,757 to 4,126 sq. ft. of living space. Base prices in May 2011 begin at around $200k.

The homes come with many options for upgrades. Standard features include 9-foot ceilings on the first floor, rounded drywall corners, Whirlpool appliances, fully sodded yards, privacy fence, R-13 wall and R-30 ceiling insulation, 14-SEER heat pumps with Puron refrigerant, a limited 10-year warranty and more.

The neighborhood seems to have gotten its name from a large oak on its north side. In keeping with the "tree" theme of the neighborhood, most of the street names have "Oak" in them. Two streets have Elm and Pecan in their names.

The Oak at Twin Creeks has a nice walking/jogging trail on its south side, along with a park that features a playscape for children. The developer also preserved an old windmill in the park area.
