This newish 180-acre residential development sits in a prime location in the NW Austin area between Lakeline Blvd. and the western part of Avery Ranch.

In January 2016, the final phases of the neighborhood are in progress. Four well-known Austin area builders are adding new residences to the community: Grand Haven, Standard Pacific (now CalAtlantic Homes), David Weekley and Scott Felder. (Drees Custom Homes ' work in the community is finished.) All homes will Grand Haven Homes cottage model home in Northwoods at Avery Ranch.be energy-efficient designs, and will have multiple options for upgrades beyond the standard included features.

Grand Haven Homes is developing the final section called The Cottages. With prices beginning in the mid-$270s (January 2016) and living areas between 1335-1751 sq. ft., these 1- and 2- story, 2- and 3-bedroom homes will suit those looking for style at a lower entry price than other homes in this community. When completed, there will be around 90 cottages in this gated section.

Standard Pacific Homes is building its homes in a section named The Manors at Northwoods. Buyers will be able to choose from single- or 2-story models, built on 60' x 120' lots, with base prices beginning in the $390s (January 2016). Choices include homes with 2,154-3,518 sq. ft., 3-5 bedrooms and 2 or 3 garage spaces.

In January 2016, builders Scott Felder Homes and David Weekley Homes are building in the 50' section on the north side of the neighborhood. David Weekley's homes start in the low $380s for homes that range in size from 1,913-3,594 sq. ft. Homes by Scott Felder start in the mid-$360s for plans that have from 1,881 to 2,998 sq. ft. of living space.
