Muirfield (also called Somerset Estates) is a small, gated and very nice (upscale) neighborhood on the south side of Southwest Austin's Circle C Ranch. This small neighborhood with many golf course homes is built on the front nine of the Grey Rock Golf Course (formerly Circle C Golf Course).
The homes in Muirfield were built from 2004 to 2007.
Public Schools: Students living in Muirfield attend schools of the Austin Independent School District. Potential homeowners should verify current school assignments with AISD. The assigned schools in May 2011 were Clayton Elementary, Gorzycki Middle and Bowie High.
