Homes in the Meadows of Kyle
The developer of the Meadows of Kyle subdivision is well-known Austin-area builder D.R. Horton Homes. When completed, there will be 315 single-family residences in the subdivision.
This neighborhood was started in 2013, and gained a good bit of momentum through 2014. The first home sale recorded in the Austin MLS closed on 1/31/14. 49 homes sales were recorded in the Austin MLS in 2016.
In January 2017, D.R. Horton offers 10 different home plans in this community. These 1- and 2-story homes range in size from 1,367 sq. ft. to 2,812 sq. ft. Base prices in January 2017 go from $205k for the smallest plan to $252k for the largest plan.
Homebuyers can choose between homes that have 3-4 bedrooms, and 2, 2.5 or 3 baths. All plans have 2 car-garages. The homes have many standard and energy-efficient features, and include full sod, privacy fences and three-sides stone or brick exteriors. Covered patios are an option.
Meadows of Kyle: Location, Area Amenities
The Meadows of Kyle subdivision is located a short distance off IH-35, making it possible for those who want to live between the Austin and San Marcos metro areas to do so. Residents thus have ready access to the shopping, entertainment, medical (Seton Medical Center Hays) and eating places in the Kyle-Buda area, and to those in the Austin and San Marcos areas.
Nearby shopping destinations include those in Kyle (The Village at Kyle, Kyle Crossing and Kyle Marketplace). Big-box stores include Lowe's, Home Depot, HEB Plus! WalMart Super Center, e.g., and the Cabela's in Buda. More area options include Southpark Meadows in South Austin, and the Premium and Tanger outlet centers in San Marcos.
It is a short drive from the Meadows at Kyle to Downtown Austin, to the ABIA airport, or to the Plum Creek Golf Club in Kyle. Connecting to the newish SH-130 toll road is also relatively simple--just a few miles to the north of the Meadows of Kyle. You can get to ABIA, or places like Pflugerville, Round Rock or places north of Austin without the hassle of trafic and delays on IH-35!
