Sales of homes in Ledge Stone began in 2007: the first sale closed in May 2007. The builders in the community included Lennar, Kimball Hill, Buffington, Ryland and Meritage Homes. The build-out of Ledge Stone was completed in 2013-2014. There are 234 single-family homes.

The rolling hills between Austin and Dripping Springs add to much to the beauty of Ledge Stone. The neighborhood is attractive to buyers also because it is located not far from Austin and all that it offers in the way of recreation, shopping, employment and entertainment. Residents also have easy access via US-290 to Dripping Springs, Wimberley and other popular areas to the west.

Homes in Ledge Stone

Homes in Ledge Stone were equipped with many standard energy-efficiency and other standard features, including a variety of evelation and other feature upgrades. Buyers can choose from 1- and 2-story homes, with 3-5 bedrooms and 2-3 garage spaces.

There are some homes in the section called the Enclave at Ledge Stone are built on 55' lots. These homes, legally described as site condominiums, are single-family residences. Other homes in the Estates of Ledge Stone are not in the condo section (regular single-family residences). 

Ledge Stone HOA, Taxes & Utilities

The community pool at Ledge Stone.The neighborhood features a small community center with a pool and playscape for the kids. There is a second play area in the neighborhood also.

All common areas are maintained by the Ledge Stone homeowners' association. Owner membership in the Ledge Stone POA/HOA, managed by Community Association Management, is required.

The primary taxing entities are Hays County, The Dripping Springs Independent School District, and Hays County MUD #4 (Municipal Utility District). Tax rates and property values change from year to year.

Homes in the Ledge Stone community get natural gas (no community propane) for heating and cooking from Texas Gas Service, electricity from Pedernales Electric, and water/sewer service from LCRA.

Public Schools for Students ♦ Ledge Stone Subdivision
