Neighborhood Location: The Lake Pointe subdivision is located in the beautiful, rolling hills of Western Travis County, just west of Senna Hills on Bee Cave Road (RM 2244). The main entrance to Lake Pointe on Resaca Blvd. is about 1 mile east of US 71 in Bee Cave, and just over 6 miles west of Loop 360 (Capital of Texas Hwy.). There are two other entrances to Lake Pointe from RM 2244 at Bayton and Napa.

Lake Pointe ♦ Real Estate Development
The development of the Lake Pointe subdivision began in 1994. At this point, nearly all of the subdivision is built out. There may be a few lots available in the sections closest to Lake Austin.
Lake Pointe was developed in a number of sections. Most of the homes, including those within the reach of more families, are in the Lake Pointe sections. The northern sections of the subdivision include Vista Pointe, built on hills with great views. There is a gated section called The Pointe at the end of Resaca Blvd. near Lake Austin.
Convenient Location ♦ Austin Hill Country
It is about 12 miles from Lake Pointe to Austin (via RM-2244), making for a pretty short commute to jobs and other great features in the Austin area. The western portion of Lake Pointe borders on the newish Hill Country Galleria development which features shopping and eating places, apartments, and the new Village of Bee Cave City Hall. The Shops at the Galleria is located across US-71 from the Galleria.
Lake Pointe just a few miles from Lakeway and its shopping venues, and from the boating and fishing opportunities on Lake Travis. The new Bee Cave Parkway on the north side of the Hill Country Galleria makes it much easier than in the past to get to RR-620 and Lakeway. There are a number of private and public golf courses nearby, including those at Barton Creek and Lakeway.
Lake Pointe ♦ Community Center ♦ Homeowners Association (HOA)
The Lake Pointe community center has a large swimming pool, playscape for children, and basketball and tennis courts. The community also features walking trails in the surrounding greenbelt. Residents and their guests have electronic-keyed access to Lake Austin.
Membership in the Lake Pointe Home Owners Association (HOA) is mandatory. Fees in late 2012 were $400 annually. The HOA maintains an active website that has much online: community news & newsletters, deed restrictions and by-laws, contact information, links to area shopping and features, and a calendar of neighborhood events. RealManage is the manager of the HOA.
Lake Pointe Austin ♦ Real Estate Property Taxes
2010 tax rates in Lake Pointe totaled around $2.25 per $100 of property value. Taxing authorities include Travis County, Lake Travis ISD, West Travis Co. MUD #3 or 5, and Travis County hospital and emergency service districts. Tax rates generally change from year to year.
