The Grand Oaks subdivision development beban in 2003, with the first MLS-recorded home sales in February 2004. The neighborhood build-out was completed in 2006. Grand Oaks was developed on some lovely real estate that features plenty of mature oaks and green areas.

The streets have roundabouts and speed bumps to slow traffic through the neighborhood and to discourage drivers who might want to cut through Grand Oaks.
The neighborhood is conveniently located with good access to Mopac and I-35, downtown Austin and Austin activities, shopping and eating, parks and more.

The Grand Oaks Homeowner's Association website contains a good bit of useful information for homeowners and prospective homeowners. In late October 2009 Grand Oaks HOA fees were $75/qtr. Membership in the Grand Oaks HOA is required.
