 Gabardine in described in its developer marketing materials as "a tailored little pocket of shady hollow." Begun in 2010, this pocket of cottage homes is finding its appeal with buyers who want the conveniences and location of South-Southwest Austin, but not so much the usual cost of owning a home in this area.
The development of Phase 1 of Gabardine is in progress. When completed this phase will have 53 single-family cottage homes. These homes are actually legally described as detached condos (sometimes called site condos).
