Deer Haven is a small, very nice 59-homesite subdivision in the Southwest Austin area. It was developed in 2003-2004 by David Weekley Homes. This neighborhood features lots typically sized in the 0.18 to 0.23 acre range, making them larger than most lots in other close-by subdivisions, such as Sendera. The homes are both single- and two-story, and range in size from around 2,100 sq. ft. to above 3,000 sq. ft.
Deer Haven is bordered on the west side by Sendera, and on the east by the 167-acre Blowing Sink Preserve (greenbelt). Many of the homes in Deer Haven back up to green areas. Deer Haven is also near the Deer Park at Maple Run subdivision, located to the west of Deer Haven at Latta Lane on the north side of Davis Lane.
