The Creekside Park neighborhood was built to limit through-traffic (no traffic to or from other communities, other than at its 2 entrances/exits). It has a number of streets that end with cul-de-sacs. The Creekside Park has many trees and a community center that features a small swimming pool, a sports court, picnic tables and parking lot. 

Another neighborhood view in Creekside ParkCreekside Park residents can get to Austin via FM-967 to Downtown Buda then to IH-35, or via FM-967 to FM-1626 to Brodie Lane & Slaughter Lane then either west to Mopac or east to IH-35.

The City of Buda, growing rapidly in size, maintains a small-town feel in many respects, especially in its historic Downtown section. It has a number of parks available to the public, including the Historic Stagecoach Park with its many giant oak trees, walking paths, picnic and playground facitities, amphitheater and more.

Buda's options for shopping, eating and entertainment have greatly expanded over the past few years, allowing residents to choose from places like Cabela's Outdoor Store, Logan's, Chili's, Super WalMart, HEB grocery store, and more!

Other options include destinations in Kyle and San Marcos to the south, and in Austin to the north (Southpark Meadows, for example).

Golfers can play at the Plum Creek Golf Club in Kyle, or at a number of other courses in the area.
