The Gardens of Covered Bridge is a gated, upscale 52-unit condominium complex built in 2006-2007. These units have many modern features, including granite countertops, SS appliances, Travertine splashes, tile floors, rounded corners, recessed lighting, fenced private back yards, 2-car garages and more. These condos come in 2 and 3-story models with 1,455 to 1,982 sq. ft. of living space. Residents can enjoy the Covered Bridge walking trails and the gated Covered Bridge Amenity Center. HOA fees for these condos in July 2010 were $200/month.
Covered Bridge Austin ♦ Neighborhood & Homes
Most of the homes in this hilly community were built in the years 2002-2007. A half-dozen homes have been added in 2008-2010 (listed in the Austin MLS), including 2 homes on the market in mid-2010.
The homes in this upscale neighborhood range in size from just under 2,100 sq. ft. to almost 4,900 sq. ft., and have 2-5 bathrooms and either 2- or 3-car garages. They were built by some of Austin's finest builders, including Drees Custom Homes, Wilshire Homes and other Austin-area custom home builders. Many of these residences have  Hill Country views or back up to greenbelts. They are equipped with many features and touches that homeowners in today's market expect in more expensive homes.
Covered Bridge ♦ Amenity Center
The well-manicured amenity center in Covered Bridge, for homeowners and their guests, is gated. It features a swimmming pool with pavilion and dressing area, playscape, swings and other play equipment for children, and tarp-covered sitting area. This is a nice place to enjoy the hot summer days in Austin. The mandatory Covered Bridge Property Owners Association fees in the summer of 2010 were around $400/year.

Public Schools for Students ♦ Covered Bridge Austin
Students living in the Covered Bridge community attend schools of the Austin Independent School District. At the time this page was posted in July 2010, the school boundaries for Covered Bridge students included these schools: Oak Hill Elementary, Clint Small Middle, and James Bowie High. Prospective homeowners should verify the current schools prior to buying a Covered Bridge home.
