The Commons at Rowe Lane Subdivision ♦ New Home Builders, Homes and Features
This subdivision is being developed by James R. Harris Partners. The neighborhood had its first home sale in August 2007.
In May 2011, three well-recognized Austin-area builders are building homes in The Commons at Rowe Lane. They are Highland Homes, Wilshire Homes and Gehan Homes. These builders offer prospective home buyers feature-packed, energy-efficient homes with a variety of external looks and in many different sizes. The homes offered in October 2010 include 1-story, 1.5 story and 2-story models that begin with base prices of around $142k up to around $230k. The living spaces range from 1,520 sq. ft. to 3,359 sq. ft. Buyers can choose from many upgrade options to personalize their homes.
The Commons at Rowe Lane ♦ Convenient Location
The neigborhood provides homeowners with lots of options for travel, shopping, commuting to jobs in the Austin-Pflugerville-Round Rock area. It is located a short distance from two major, tolled roadways: SH-45 which feeds to/from Round Rock, Austin and points east, and SH-130 which handles traffic moving north toward Georgetown and south toward the Austin Bergstrom Intercontinental Airport (ABIA). The new Stone Hill Town Center, Dell Diamond, the Round Rock Premium Outlets, major employers, Wal-Mart SuperCenter, golf clubs, Downtown Austin and many more popular places are easily reached from The Commons at Rowe Lane.

 Residents of The Commons at Rowe Lane enjoy a very nice community center. It features a large swimming pool, a children's playscape, a sports court, and a large clubhouse. In addition, the neighborhood has a nice system of hike and bike trails.
Homeowners in The Commons at Rowe Lane can also enjoy the Blackhawk Golf Club. This public golf course is in the neighboring Blackhawk subdivision. It has an 18-hole, links-style layout that is able, with its water, sand and trees, to give golfers a good test of their golfing abilities. The course plays from just over 5,500 yards to over 7,000 yards. In addition to "playing a round," Blackhawk golfers can also practice on the putting green and driving range, and find a snack or sandwich, balls and clubs in the clubhouse.
Membership in The Commons at Rowe Lane HOA, managed by RealManage, is mandatory for homeowners. Fees in May 2011 were $400 annually.
Tax rates in this part of Pflugerville run around $3/$100 of property value. Key taxing entities for The Commons are Travis County, Pflugerville ISD, and the Lakeside MUD #3. Water, sewer and trash service is provided by the City of Pflugerville.
