In September 2011, Pulte Homes has become the only builder in Cold Springs. Pulte has completed a new model home and will be offering 1- and 2-story homes of various sizes and floor plans.
Previously-constructed homes in Cold Springs were built by Mercedes Homes, Buffington Homes (currently closing out its activity in Cold Springs) and Centex Homes (merged with Pulte Homes earlier this year).
The base prices for the new homes to be built by Pulte (Sept. 2011 information) begin at $169,990. These prices vary with the home selected and the elevation and upgrades chosed to personalize your home. Pulte's 8 home plans range in size from 1,693 sq. ft. to 2,964 sq. ft.
Cold Springs homes are designed to make living in this community a nice experience for home owners and their families. The many standard features are too many to mention, but include energy efficiency features, four sides masonry, gourmet kitchens and more.
Cold Springs Leander ♦ Subdivision and Area Amenities
Cold Springs is a single-family residential home development in the fast-growing area of Leander, Texas.
The neighborhood and its features are in the early stages of development. Eventually, the Cold Springs community center will cover a total of 8.2 acres and will include a junior Olympic swimming pool and splas pads. The community center features a neighborhood park with covered picnic pavilion & tables, two playscapes, basketball court, rock climbing feature and hike & bike trails.
Residents in the Cold Springs neighborhood also have access to Lake Lakewood (also called Block House Lake). This 32.5-acre lake on the south side of the development is in a very pretty setting, and offers homeowners and their familes and guests opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors without having to travel far.
Cold Springs is located close to schools, shopping, area jobs, golf courses and other opportunities for outdoor recreation.
Nearby shopping includes major outlets (Home Depot, HEB, SuperTarget, e.g.) along FM-1431 in Cedar Park and the Lakeline Mall on US-183 N in NW Austin.
Area golf courses include the Avery Ranch Golf Club and the Crystal Falls Golf Club.
The subdivision is a short drive from Cedar Park's Brushy Creek Lake Park, and is not far from Lake Travis (via RR-620). It is also close to the 800-acre Williamson County Regional Park, which features lots of fields & courts for playing soccer, softball, football (track also), tennis, and basketball. Other features include a running track, a hike and bike trail and a miniature train.
The Cedar Park Center, home of the Texas Stars minor league hockey team, opened in September 2009 with a George Strait concert.
Cold Springs Subdivision ♦ Homeowners Association (HOA)
Membership in the Cold Springs HOA is required. Fees in September 2011 were around $45/month. The HOA is managed by RealManage.
