Brookfield Development and Homes
Brookfield was developed by D.R. Horton Homes. It has two main sections: Brookfield Estates and Brookfield. The Brookfield portion of the community is also known as the Gaston-Sheldon subdivision. The homes in Brookfield were built in the years 2002-2009. As can be seen in the table above, home sizes from 1,123 sq. ft. to 2,482 sq. ft.
Brookfield HOA, Amenities and Taxes
Brookfield has an active HOA, managed by Associa. Membership in the Brookfield HOA is required. In June 2011 fees were $28/month. The neighborhood features a nice community pool and play area that is located on Tudor House Road.
In 2010, Brookfield property owners paid property taxes at a rate of $2.85/$100 of value. The primary taxing entities are Pflugerville ISD, Travis County and the Northtown MUD.
Brookfield Location
Brookfield is located conveniently about midway between IH-35 to its west and the newish SH-130 tollway to its east. In addition, it is situated just off Dessau Lane, putting it in a good location for access to area shopping, recreation, jobs and schools.
