Construction on this project began in 2007 with the first sales recorded in the Austin MLS in July of that year. In early 2013, D.R. Horton is continuing the development of a new section of Brodie Heights. It also has a gated entrance from Davis Lane.

Membership in the Brodie Heights Condominium Association is required. The COA is managed by Brodie Heights Community PoolRealManage; fees are around $190/month. The neighborhood is gated. Residents and their guests can enjoy the Brodie Heights community pool.
