Sections of the neighborhood include Fairways at Blackhawk, Park at Blackhawk, Retreat at Blackhawk, Trails at Blackhawk, Meadows of Blackhawk and Blackhawk Estates (Estates of Rowe Lane).
In 2013, the builders which are adding new homes to the Blackhawk community include: Wilshire, Centex and David Weekley Homes.
Blackhawk Golf Club ♦ Pflugerville TX
 For many Blackhawk homeowners, the primary amenity is the Blackhawk Golf Club. This course, open to the public, is a challenging 18-hole links-style championship layout. The four sets of tees play from 5,507 yards to 7,072 yards. The course has pleanty of trees, water, and sand, as well as a nice clubhouse and practice facility.

 In addition to the golf club, Blackhawk offers homeowners living in its various sections a number of other options for neighborhood activities. These include a new amenity center with pools, clubhouse, playscape and more.
There are also other community centers within the Blackhawk neighborhoods. Common areas such as these are maintained by the Blackhawk HOA. Homeowners in the Estates of Blackhawk have a separate HOA (the Estates of Blackhawk Property Owners Association), but are able to use the facilities in the Blackhawk development.
