Homes in the Ashford Park neighborhood!Homes in Ashford Park were built in the years 1998-2000 by Main Street Homes. This smallish neighborhood, located on the south side of the Bradford Village subdvision, has around 115 single-family homes in it. As with home values in other Buda communities, the average value of a home in Ashford Park has increased in the past 6 years. 

Ashford Park homes range in size from the smallest home with 1,009 sq. ft. to the largest at 2,048 sq. ft. These residences come in the typical sizes: 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, single-story, to larger plans with 2 stories, four bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Most will provide homebuyers some looked-for updates/upgrades.  

The Gazebo in the nearby Bradfield Village neighborhood.There are no community-specific amenity features (swimming pool, e.g.). However, the subdivision is very close to the City of Buda's Bradfield Village Park and the historic Stagecoach Park. Several other city parks are within a short driving distance from Ashford Park. The Bradfield Village Park has a small lake, walking and recreation areas, children's play equipment, picnic facilities and a nice gazebo.

More homes in the Ashford Park neighborhoodIt is a short drive to the historic Downtown Buda with its "old-town" charm and the Buda community offices. Nice retail developments along Buda's east side along IH-35 add to the appeal of the neighborhood and the city. These include a Super WalMart, an HEB grocery store, eateries like Chili's, Cracker Barrel and Logan's Roadhouse, and a Cabela's store (outdoor sporting equipment). 

Medical care is available at Kyle's Seton Medical Center Hospital, and at a number of smaller walk-in emergency-type facilities in Buda and in Kyle. Shopping venues in Kyle include Lowe's, WalMart, Target and Home Depot stores. Those who golf can visit the Plum Creek Golf Course in Kyle or one of a number of other courses in the Austin and Central Texas area. 

Ashford Park Homeowners Association and Taxes

Membership in the Ashford Park Homeowners Association (HOA) is mandatory. Annual fees of roughly $60/year take care of neighborhood common area maintenance. 

Ashford Park owners pay taxes to the City of Buda, Hays CISD, Hays County and several smaller taxing entities. 

Public Schools for Students ♦ Ashford Park Buda

Ashford Park students attend schools operated by the Hays Consolidated Independent School District (HCISD). Parents should verify which schools their children will be assigned to attend, since attendance zones are occasionally redrawn.
