Gehan Homes and Perry Homes (Phase 1, 50' homesites) and Gehan Homes and Scott Felder Homes (Phase 2, 60' homesites) have been announced as the initial builders in Anthem Texas. They are well-known Austin-area home builders. No home plans have been released by the builders yet. Builder lots for home construction is planned to begin in early 2021.
Home Prices: When the lots are available, homes will be priced from the mid-$200s to the $500s.

This is refected in the names of its roads: Anthem Parkway (main road and entrance from FM-150), Constitution Way, Valor Loop, Independence Drive, Soldier Street, Courage Road, Brave Street, Veteran Drive and Old Glory Loop.

There has been a broad development of retail outlets in the San Marcos/Kyle/Buda in the past several years. Stores like HEB grocery stores, WalMarts, building material stores Home Depot & Lowe's, Buda's outdoors sporting goods store (Cabela's), along with many others along IH-35, are open for your business. There are three key developments in Kyle: Kyle Crossing, The Village at Kyle, and the Kyle Marketplace. There are many healthcare facilities in Kyle, including the Ascension Seton Hays hospital. Shopping in San Marcos (Premium Outlets, Tanger Outlet) and South Austin area (Southpark Meadows, e.g.), the Anthem Texas neighborhood is well-located!

Plum Creek Golf Course
The Plum Creek Golf Course is the only golf course in the Kyle-Buda area. (There are others, of course, in SSW Austin and San Marcos.) Plum Creek's 18-hole course is a challenging layout. It has yardage measuring 4,876 yards from the "ladies" tee boxes to 7,132 yards at the "pro" tees. The club has remodeled its 10,000 sq.ft. clubhouse. It features a pro shop, grill, locker rooms, pavilion, putting green, short game practice area and driving range.

Homeowners will be required to be members in the Anthem Texas HOA. HOA fees will be used to take care of the neighborhood common areas and amenities. The neighborhood has plans for a future amenity center with a pool.
