Anthem Texas Kyle-Mountain City Developer, Builders and Homes

The Anthem Texas neighborhood is being developed by Kyle 150 LP with Clark Wilson serving as the General Partner. (Scroll downward to view a Vimeo video update on the neighborhood.)

Gehan Homes and Perry Homes (Phase 1, 50' homesites) and Gehan Homes and Scott Felder Homes (Phase 2, 60' homesites) have been announced as the initial builders in Anthem Texas. They are well-known Austin-area home builders. No home plans have been released by the builders yet. Builder lots for home construction is planned to begin in early 2021.

Home Prices: When the lots are available, homes will be priced from the mid-$200s to the $500s.

Ultimate Size: 1,550 homes

Project Size: 422 Acres

Amenity Center: Anthem Texas will offer residents a 4-acre community center that will include a pool and park.

Anthem Texas Plat PlanTrail System: Anthem Texas will also feature a vast system of ponds, hike/bike trails, bike lanes and wide sidewalks covering 75 of its acres. Over 30% of Anthem Texas is bordered by permanently-set-aside open space. This insures that much of the area alongside Anthem Texas will be unavailable for further development..

Other Key Features: A proposed elementary school, daycare facility and commercial space. 

Street Names: Interestingly, Anthem Texas appears to have a patriotic theme. This is refected in the names of its roads: Anthem Parkway (main road and entrance from FM-150), Constitution Way, Valor Loop, Independence Drive, Soldier Street, Courage Road, Brave Street, Veteran Drive and Old Glory Loop. 

Shopping for Residents of Anthem Texas in Kyle

There has been a broad development of retail outlets in the San Marcos/Kyle/Buda in the past several years. Stores like HEB grocery stores, WalMarts, building material stores Home Depot & Lowe's, Buda's outdoors sporting goods store (Cabela's), along with many others along IH-35, are open for your business. There are three key developments in Kyle: Kyle Crossing, The Village at Kyleand the Kyle Marketplace. There are many healthcare facilities in Kyle, including the Ascension Seton Hays hospital. Shopping in San Marcos (Premium OutletsTanger Outlet) and South Austin area (Southpark Meadows, e.g.), the Anthem Texas neighborhood is well-located!

Plum Creek Golf Course

The Plum Creek Golf Course is the only golf course in the Kyle-Buda area. (There are others, of course, in SSW Austin and San Marcos.) Plum Creek's 18-hole course is a challenging layout. It has yardage measuring 4,876 yards from the "ladies" tee boxes to 7,132 yards at the "pro" tees. The club has remodeled its 10,000 sq.ft. clubhouse. It features a pro shop, grill, locker rooms, pavilion, putting green, short game practice area and driving range.

Anthem Texas Kyle-Mountain City ♦ HOA ♦ Taxes ♦ Amenities ♦ Utilities

Homeowners will be required to be members in the Anthem Texas HOA. HOA fees will be used to take care of the neighborhood common areas and amenities. The neighborhood has plans for a future amenity center with a pool.

Prospective homeowners should verify current tax rates when purchasing a home in Anthem Texas. 

Utility providers for Anthem Texas residents have not yet been released by the developer.
