6 Creeks Kyle Builders and Homes

Model Home in the 6 Creeks, Kyle, neighborhoodThe 6 Creeks neighborhood is currently being developed by five builders: M/I Homes, Trendmaker Homes, Highland HomesCoventry Homes, and Perry Homes. All are well-known, quality home builders in the greater Austin, Texas area. There are active several listings of homes available for purchase. 

In August 2020, the five builders are actively building and selling homes in 6 Creeks. Homesites are available on either 50'- or 60' wide lots. Prices shown in the information below comes from the builders' websites as of August 8, 2020.

In August 2020, M/I Homes offers homes in its Classic Series (60'-wide lots, 2,242-4,099 sq. ft., beginning at $315,500), and in its Signature Series (50'-wide lots starting in the mid-$270s, 1,644-3,006 sq. ft.). 

Builders in Kyle's 6 Creeks community.

Trendmaker Homes' plans have base prices beginning in the upper $260s for The Grove at 6 Creeks (50'-wide lots, 1,577-2,667 sq. ft.), and $309k for homes in The Summit at 6 Creeks (2,167-3,121 sq. ft., 60'-wide lots). They have two model homes for viewing. 

Highland Homes opened its two new models homes in a new section of 6 Creeks in April 2020. It is currently selling its homes on either 55'- of 70'-wide lots. Highlands offers 10 plan choices in the 55' section (1,864 sq. ft. to 2,965 sq. ft., $325,000-$388,990). There are 15 plan options in the 70'-wide section ($435,990-$500,990; 2,792-3,975 sq. ft.). 

Coventry Homes also builds its homes on either 55' or 70'-wide lots. Its 9 Classic Series 50' homes (upper $320s to upper low 380s) have from 2,028 to 2,897 sq, ft. Its Executive Series Homes start in the mid $420s (2,770 sq. ft.) and go upward to the upper 480s (4,373 sq. ft.)    

Perry Homes began work in this community in the summer of 2020. It is currently selling from a sales trailer located on Coyote Creek Way. They have a sign on site that says a model home is on its way. Perry is building on 50' and 60-wide lots. Prices for the 50' homes begin in the $340s (1,700-3,000 sq ft.). Homes on the 60'-wide lots begin in the $430s (2,400-3,400 sq, ft.).   

All of the homes offered by these builders come with many included standard features. Upgrade options for personalizing your home are also available. Many of the homes have elevation premiums which add to the price.

Shopping for Residents of 6 Creeks in Kyle

New homes in the 6 Creeks, Kyle, neighborhoodThere ahs been a broad development of retail outlets in the San Marcos/Kyle/Buda in the past several years. Stores like HEB grocery stores, WalMarts, building material stores Home Depot & Lowe's, Buda's outdoors sporting goods store (Cabela's), along with many others along IH-35, are open for your business. There are three key developments in Kyle: Kyle Crossing, The Village at Kyleand the Kyle Marketplace. There are many healthcare facilities in Kyle, including the Ascension Seton Hays hospital. With these and many others in the San Marcos (Premium OutletsTanger Outlet) and South Austin area (Southpark Meadows, e.g.), the 6 Creeks neighborhood is well-located!

Plum Creek Golf Course

The Plum Creek Golf Course is the only golf course in the Kyle-Buda area. (There are others, of course, in SSW Austin and San Marcos.) Plum Creek's 18-hole course is a challenging layout. It has 4 sets of tee boxes and stretches from the "ladies" tees at 4,876 yards to the "back" tees at 7,132 yards.

The club recently remodeled its 10,000 sq.ft. clubhouse. It features a pro shop, grill, locker rooms, pavilion, putting green, short game practice area and driving range.

6 Creeks Kyle ♦ HOA ♦ Taxes ♦ Amenities ♦ Utilities

6 Creeks Kyle LocationHomeowners must be members in the 6 Creeks HOA. HOA fees are used to take care of the neighborhood common areas and amenities. The neighborhood has plans for a future amenity center with pool.

Prospective homeowners should verify current tax rates when purchasing a home in 6 Creeks. The primary taxing authorities are Hays County, the Hays Consolidated Independent School District (HCISD), and the City of Kyle.

Utilities for 6 Creeks at Waterridge residents are provided by Pedernales (electricity), City of Kyle (water, sewer, trash, recycle), Center Point Energy (natural gas), cable/internet (Spectrum).

The 6 Creeks neighborhood is located within the boundaries of the Hays Consolidated Independent School DistrictBefore purchasing a home in 6 Creeks, homebuyers should verify current school assignments with Hays CISD.
